trinkets

In my final fall semester, I took a printmaking class! We experimented with 6 different forms of printmaking, my favorite being screenprinting.

For this piece, I arranged a few of my favorite trinkets and must-have-at-all-times items. In a lot of ways, This feels like an accurate representation of me as a person.

It was really interesting getting to feel out and learn the process of screenprinting, especially when I smeared ink all over my favorite pair of jeans (no it is never coming out and yes I have made peace with that). Besides that and quite a few other small hiccups, this turned out to be my favorite project of the semester, and a lot of my friends received prints as christmas presents!
